For a lot of us, there is nothing more personal than the shoes we wear on our feet. Not only do we cling to the aesthetic of a shoe, but also its comfortability. Which is why tech. company DIGITSOLE has decided to bring shoes into the 21st century with its interconnected footwear.
“DIGITSOLE is the world leader in connected footwear. We integrate electronics and energy into footwear to offer consumers more functions that will bring significant comfort and well-being.”

The attachment comes in all shapes and sizes and, given its lightweight material, will not add-on any considerable weight with your shoe. It will also be able to track your movement like a fitbit and will equally provide shock resistance in the same way an exoskeleton suit provides to the body.

FUTURE IMPLICATIONS
The interconnection of footwear serves as a baseline for what the future has in store for all of us in terms of smart clothing. Not only will your shoes begin tracking your every movement, provide maximum, temperature-changing comfort, and help accommodate various physical pressures, but so will every other piece of clothing that you wear on a daily basis. Someday, soon, everything you wear will be connected to the cloud. Thus you in your entirety will be connected to the cloud. You’ll have access to your entire body’s information – where you’ve been, how far you’ve moved, body temperature variances in a given location, etc. As a result, you will then use this information to help maximize your own personal comfort each day in the same way you would schedule meetings.
