The Next Time You See a Worm, Don’t Step On It…It Might Just Be a Robot

Over the course of a year, Serious Wonder has kept tabs on the giant fighting robot duel that is to take place in August between the United States and Japan. With this duel, the U.S. robotics team, MegaBots Inc., has also announced the formulation of a Giant Fighting Robot Sports League. In doing so, they’ve invited the rest of the world to join in on the action.
Well, it would appear that China is the first to reply to their invitation with a resounding yes! Not only is China wanting to join the league, but they’ve already developed their first operational prototype – the Monkey King. Little is known about this prototype outside of the low-resolution video provided by MegaBots, but with their entry into the league, we should expect other countries to begin following suit.
