Not the least of our problems is the fact that a lot of bacteria is left on our hand and body towels after bathing, and we usually just hang the damp towels on a rack while they accrue mold. With all this in mind, French designer Simon Lauwerier has planned an alternative to typical post-bathing routines. Lauwerier’s B-Dry is a cylindrical, bar-shaped blow dryer evaporates water from your skin.
The B-Dry uses Dyson technology to absorb, filter, and push heated air onto your skin to dry efficiently and hygienically. No bigger than a baton, the B-Dry seems like a reasonable concept. By twisting the device, air is immediately blown out of a creased opening. Designed with a HEPA filter at the bottom, the B-Dry constantly filters clean air across your body.
The B-Dry is not just an hygienic bathroom utility but something that will simplify lifestyles and routines altogether. It will have an impact on how many supplies we think we need to accumulate. The B-Dry is one of those modern tools that condense many other appliances into one, speeding up our more mundane experiences to get to the good moments faster.
