A future imagination is all you need sometimes to start creating what you want to see in the world. Sometimes, what is in your future imagination may not make any sense. Maybe nobody will understand it.
Say you’re a concept art creator, and your digitally-rendered images of cityscapes and future technologies have no perceptible function. They may not have any cost-benefit, you could say.
But cost-benefit isn’t always the point. Sometimes you just have to let that future imagination loose and see what you create. And if you want to see the pictures in your future imagination realized, then you’ll work hard to see them in the world.
Take a look at ka-105, a futuristic concept from Michael Menzelincef. I don’t know what it is, what it might do, or why Menzelincef created it. But he imagined it, and it gives me all sorts of ideas for real technologies.

FUTURE IMPLICATIONS
What do you imagine in the future? What do you want to see?
