In The Future This Week, Serious Wonder shoots for oblivion in search of this week’s headlines of the future, from an artificial intelligence-created encryption system to Neil deGrasse Tyson collaborating with Avenged Sevenfold for their latest album about A.I. This week we’re given a glimpse of the future where solar paneled roofs are created by Tesla Motors and Uber’s self-driving trucking system Otto makes its first delivery: of beer.

Whether we’re making deliveries using self-driving vehicles or creating an artificial intelligence that is capable of creating its own encryption system, the future is getting crazier and crazier by each week. At the onset of it all, we’re not exactly sure how things will unfold.
