No campfire gathering would be complete without a frightening Sasquatch (i.e. Bigfoot ) story. Now Sasquatch researchers may give campfire storyteller’s even more to talk about. THE FALCON PROJECT aims to launch an airship that will float above the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest in the hopes of capturing aerial footage of the elusive Sasquatch.
The airship is the creation of William Barnes a self-described “ideas man” and small business owner. Barnes reportedly had an encounter with the Sasquatch while panning for gold in the woods of Northern California.
“My whole thought was, ‘I know they’re real — at least now I do,’” Barnes said, “So why can’t they film these in the wild?” “They’re too skittish,” he said. “They don’t want to be bothered by people. They’re bipedal, but that doesn’t mean they’re human.”
” Our goal is to educate the public. We would like to see a no kill zone although we are NOT looking for land for this. I just do not want to see people shoot them for money or fame.”
If THE FALCON PROJECT is successful in capturing several Sasquatch in the deep woods of the Pacific Northwest how will this change our view of humanity? Is it possible that we have been living side-by-side for thousands of years with the Sasquatch? If the Sasquatch is real should we leave them alone or should we try to capture and investigate their origins? If we were to capture Sasquatch and realize that they are intelligent and have intentionally been avoiding humans what role will they play in our history? Do you think that Sasquatch is real and how should we deal with them if they are?
