The new sci-fi short PROSPECT does all of this and more. This short film is set in a toxic forest on an alien world. The cinematography is really warm and emotional, and the acting is quite good.
The film shows how a brave father and daughter struggle to survive in a future filled with alien pirates as they mine the forest for some illusive raw material that may just make them rich.
The ending of this film made me wonder about the little heroine. What will she do next? Will she survive? What was the material they found in the woods and why does everyone want it?
This feeling of wonder is just part of what makes PROSPECT such a successful and beautiful sci-fi short.
