The Future This Week: Google, Fashion, and Head Transplants

By B.J. Murphy

In The Future This Week, Serious Wonder straps on its robotic dress in search of this week’s headlines of the future, from the future of fashion to an upcoming cyberpunk series on Netflix. This week we’re given a glimpse at some of the strangest events to occur and subsequently the most uplifting of stories.

It’s a week of both madness and awe. From Google’s recent announcement of joining MOOC provider Udacity, with a free course on Deep Learning, to Chinese surgeons successfully carrying out a head transplant on a monkey, the future has never been this interesting so far. But we’re not done yet. More is to come as we continue accelerating forward. Are you ready? Welcome to the future!
